Programs

Father Ryan Futsal is an opportunity for players to continue their development during the winter season. This will be an 8 week program that focuses on technical development and decision making. We will break for Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

Cost: $175.00

Date: November 7th - February 13th 

Who: 1st-8th Grade (players will be split up by their age)

Times: Wednesday evening 6:30-8:00 pm

Structure of training sessions:

• 30 min - Technical/Ball skills
• 45 Min - Games

Futsal is played inside on a hard court that is smaller than a regular soccer field. There are no walls which set it apart from “indoor” soccer. Teams are composed of 4 field players and a goalkeeper. 

Futsal is a great way for players to develop their technical and tactical skills. Having a smaller ball and a more confined playing area requires players to think quicker and have a good first touch. 

Our primary goal is to provide an environment for kids to learn the basic skills and grow their love for the game of soccer. We believe the Irish soccer academy will allow each player to create solid fundamentals, lasting relationships, while building a culture of good character and sportsmanship. The Irish Soccer Academy is a grassroots outdoor soccer program that will have 1 training sessions a week for 1 hour and a game on the weekend for an hour. Each weekend the players will be split into different teams and play each other. Every participant of the program will receive a jersey upon registration.

Structure of training sessions:

• First 15 min- Drill of the week (Each week we will cover a new topic to work on ranging from Passing, Dribbling, Shooting, Receiving etc.)
• Last 45 minutes- Games

Game Structure:

• Every Saturday (time TBA)- players will be divided up onto different teams (age appropriate) and play against each other. The length of the games depends on the age group.
